The Steel Chops
The idea for the Steel Chops began in the Summer or 2006 when the 2 founders Joel & Scott decided that good ol’ fashioned Rock n’ Roll had gone missing. The sound of the Steel Chops is something that you don’t hear in modern day music. A three guitar attack with soulful keys and lyrics that eveyone can relate to is what music should be. This is what the Steel Chops are all about!!! Our music is featured on INDIE 104 LA under the Top 10 requested songs. The Steel Chops were also featured on Digivegas.com and were placed in the Top 25 for there hit “Diamond” in the Blooming-Tunes Song Contest 2010. Our shows are amped up for everyone to Rock out & Dance to. We play a lot of Charity Events many consecutively as we like to do out part. Our influences are Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brother’s Band, Gov’t Mule, Little Feat, Johnny Cash, Elvis, Willie Nelson, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, John Mellencamp, Blues Traveler, Grateful Dead, Frank Sinatra, Waylon Jennings, David Allen Coe, George Strait, .38 Special, AC/DC, Ashley Gearing, the Dead Weather.
