The BC3
The BC3 is a local blues/rock trio from the Palatine and Round Lake areas. With catchy tunes and electrifying guitar, The BC3 is sure to rock any venue…big or small. They perform songs in the likes of BB King, Buddy Guy, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix. The band has been busy playing shows in the City of Chicago,the Northern Suburbs of Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. The BC3 is a representation of the powerful emotion and excitement the BLUES created that once dominated the music scene. Started by Brian Collins and Brian Calhoun, the band has recently re-tooled and are joined by Brian Wakeman on bass. The idea behind starting the trio was to keep the elements of each members’ influences and mash them into great cover songs and catchy original music. Each member brings different influences from Eric Clapton and John Mayer to hard rock icons like Shinedown and Gov’t Mule. Thus, forming the sound and song choice they have today.
