Living Room Sessions with Paddy O\’
Michael is a classically trained singer, but don’t let that bug you. He grew up playing guitar and singing songs of all kinds. He has South Side Chicago roots, but has performed all over the country, including in New Orleans, San Antonio, Austin, Chicago, West Michigan. He has sung the title of Jesus in JC Superstar, among other stage musical roles.
Growing up in the 70′s and 80′s gives him a predisposition to playing The Beatles, The Guess Who, The Cars, etc… Gospel, R&B, and even Country music. But he keeps up to date, thanks especially to his 16 year old daughter, who keeps him “hip”… Death Cab for Cutie, Plain White T’s, Nickelback, Train, Bruno Mars…
Favorite acoustic artists and influences include Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, Nickelback, John Denver, Eddie Robinson (from Barenaked Ladies), Darryl Hall and John Oates, Neil Diamond, McCartney, Lennon, and Harrison…
