From different parts of the Milwaukee/Kenosha area, the members of SOUL SHAKER have come together for the love of playing! Each of these musicians has been in a ton of bands (it’s an addiction). And if some of them look familiar, yes, you’ve probably seen them before – but together they’re the incomparable SOUL SHAKER Ranging from heavy power rock to Old school 80′s. Resurrection Larry – Chicagoland’s Newest High Energy Power Rock Band

Named in homage to the legendary Chicagoland hitch-hiking spirit Resurrection Mary, Resurrection Larry combines their own musically inspired tunes with today’s top hits and select classic rock covers from bands such as the Doors, Allman Brothers, Pink Floyd, and Deep Purple.

Described in the Chicago Tribune as “Pink Floyd vs. Led Zeppelin in a bar fight on Mars”, Resurrection Larry blends complex arrangements with memorable tunes and lyrics to please the most jaded rock fan. The band’s philosophy is centered on the show which includes interacting with the crowd. Their performances are not about big egos or strutting (unless requested).

Rocking Midwest Festivals and the best Chicago clubs since 2007, Resurrection Larry delivers powerful bass and percussion, throw-back lyrical vocals, gravel-crunching organ sounds and classic-soaring lead guitar work.
